A 2-Day Public Workshop on Justice, Compassion & Collective Liberation Accomplice School™ is an immersive 3-day workshop designed to move people beyond performative allyship into meaningful, courageous action. Through conversations, trainings, and community practice, participants will explore Anti-Black Racism, Structural Racism, Harm Reduction, Empathy & Compassion, Emergent Strategy, and Policy Advocacy as tools for collective liberation. Rooted in the understanding that “Ally ≠ Accomplice,” this experience challenges participants to deepen their commitment to justice by learning how systems of racism operate — and how we can actively dismantle them together. Open to everyone — including White and White-passing allies, non-Black POC communities, and African/Afro-Diasporic participants — Accomplice School™ creates space for reflection, accountability, healing, and transformative action. This is not a performance. It is a practice. A lifelong commitment can begin here. About the artist
Navild Acosta is a Multi-award winning and internationally acclaimed multi-medium artist and activist based between Berlin, DE and Brooklyn, NY. His intersectional identities as a Transgender Non-Binary, queer, and Afro-Latino 1st Generation American Artist have continuously inspired his community based work. Navild’s Artistic works and thought leadership have been featured in many publications including SCHÖN, Performance Journal, VICE, PAPER, Teen Vogue, BOMB Magazine and more. His performance work has debuted in various Institutions nationally and abroad including Gropius Bau, N.B.K., Kunst Werke, Sophiensaele, The MoMA, Ford Foundation Gallery (NYC), SMU Pollock Gallery (Dallas), New York Live Arts and Performance Space New York (NYC). Navild has collaborated with notable artists such as Alicia Keys, Peaches Nisker, Fannie Sosa, Lyle Ashton-Harris, Ralph Lemon & Ishmael Houston-Jones. Navild’s current projects include Black Power Naps, created in collaboration with Fannie Sosa, is a multi-purpose separatist organizing space with a focus on rest, restoration, rejuvenation, reparation and Black joy. Navild works across various media, all devised in collaboration with Black artists, which are propositions for how reparative economies can better hold communities of color. Parallel to his artistic practice through his racial justice work he has provided Anti-Racism Professional Development Courses called Accomplice School at organizations like Kunst Werke, E.O.T.O., Performance Space New York, Creative Capital, New York University Steinhardt, Vassar College and Movement Research (USA).

We use a sliding scale to make courses as affordable as possible. Here’s how to use it: Lower end: You don’t have a stable income. Mid range: You have a less stable financial situation and are more selective about where you spend your money. Higher end: You experience relative financial stability. Solidarity spot: You’re experiencing financial precarity and wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to come to a workshop.
